Healing Chi Kung (Qigong)

The Healing Chi Kung Course is run over 5 weekends, with extra tutorials available if required.

The course covers: -

Des Lawton teaching some of the qi listening exercises for Healing Qigong
  • Dao Yin exercises.
  • The Tai Chi Shibashi Chi Kung.
  • Listening to your own Chi - Chi Awareness.
  • The uses and healing qualities of the Shibashi exercises.
  • Variations in the breathing patterns during the Shibashi exercises.
  • Listening to external (your client's) Chi - Discerning the different qualities of imbalance.
  • Modifying the exercises - changing the focus/quality of Chi being influenced.
  • The Five Element effects of the Tai Chi Shibashi.
  • Chi Kung healing techniques.
  • An introduction to the Meridian systems.
  • Diagnosing imbalance in the Meridian system.
  • An introduction to Five Element Theory.

Syllabus: -

Part 1 (1 weekend)

  • The Tai Chi Shibashi Chi Kung system, including variations in breathing patterns.
  • The uses/healing aspects of each of the exercises.
  • Listening exercises; Chi awareness.

 

Part 2 (2 weekends)

Des Lawton teaching Healing Qigong
  • The Tai Chi Shibashi Chi Kung in more depth.
  • Diagnosing imbalances in the meridian system.
  • Using 5 Element Theory.
  • Listening exercises; the different qualities of Chi.

 

Part 3 (2 weekends)

  • Enhancing the Shibashi exercises to increase their focus and potency.
  • Chi projection; assisted Chi Kung with the practitioner aiding the flow of Chi within the client.
  • Listening exercises; using the different qualities of Chi within healing.
  • Assessment - Theory and practical.

Attendance Certificates will be supplied for each section of the course covered. However, Healing Chi Kung Diplomas will only be presented if the following requirements are met: -

  • All homework sheets to be completed.
  • The theory assessment pass grade is 70%.
  • Passing the practical assessment - based on reaching the required level of sensitivity and carrying out a treatment using Chi Kung, including prescribing Chi Kung exercises to the client.

Course fee is £600.00
Next course - scheduled to start on the weekend of 10th & 11th Apri 2010
Payment Plan - We are now able to offer our students a payment plan to spread the cost of our courses. On all courses costing over £200.00 you can pay a 25% deposit and the balance over 6 monthly payments by standing order. Alternatively, you could receive a 20% reduction by paying the full fee on enrolment.
